AG stands for ‘Anti-Glare coating’, Anti-glare glass is designed to minimize the amount of light reflected from its surface, resulting in improved visibility and reduced eye strain. The glass is coated with a microscopically thin layer of materials, such as metal oxides or specialized coatings, which alter the behavior of light. These coatings help to scatter or absorb the incoming light, reducing the intensity of reflections and glare.
Glare occurs when light bounces off a reflective surface, such as glass, and creates an intense, distracting brightness. This can be problematic in various applications, including windows, displays, picture frames, and optical lenses.

There are two different methods to coat the AG on the glass surface: Chemical etching and Spraying.
Chemical Etching AG can last forever as it use an acid, to etched to the glass surface. The solution selectively removes a thin layer of glass, creating a rough texture with microscopic irregularities.
Spraying AG are now become a popular AG Coating method as it can last for long time on indoor facilities glass surface, and with better cost effective.
The benefits of anti-glare glass include:
Reduced glare: Anti-glare glass significantly decreases the amount of reflected light, making it easier to see through the glass and improving visibility in bright environments.
Enhanced aesthetics: Anti-glare glass reduces the distracting glare on framed artwork, photographs, and other displays, allowing viewers to appreciate the content without being hindered by reflections.
Eye comfort: The reduction in glare helps to alleviate eye strain and fatigue, especially when using devices or viewing content for extended periods.
Improved clarity: By reducing reflections, anti-glare glass enhances the clarity and sharpness of images, text, or objects viewed through the glass. This is particularly important for displays, artwork, and photographs.
Thanks to the increasingly mature production technology and high-precision machines, KS Glass are able to provide the best solution for our clients for different usage scenarios.
