GLASS CUTTING & WATERJET CUTTING

High precision glass cutting is at the core of KS’s numerous fabrication capabilities.

KS has many ways to cut the glass to customer’s accurate size and shape. By laser cutting, the size tolerance range can be controlled in 0.001mm. For irregular shape, water jet cutting might be the suitable solution.

And to reach high efficiency and cost effective, diamond stone cutting will be your ideal choice.

CNC Glass Fabrication

Our CNC center have more than 14 CNC machines with 8k quantity output per day. Just about any shape imaginable.

If you can draw it – We can CNC it.

Our custom CNC glass processing produces incredibly consistent results from small prototype runs to large volume production runs. KS can fabricate the most complex geometries with the tightest tolerances.

This is accomplished through a combination of state-of-the-art CNC machines, experienced machine operators and robotics.

 

DRILLING

High-precision glass drilling is just one component of KS’ deep line up of glass fabrication capabilities. Glass drilling is an essential component to numerous finished glass products including doors, mirrors, lighting shades,

display covers, military applications and many more. Glass drilling is always down before the glass is physical tempered or chemically strengthened.

Glass drilling from KS is not limited to just a hole drilled in the glass. We can drill numerous types of holes in numerous types of glass.

EDGE GRINDING & POLISHING

Top of the line machinery and extensive industry knowledge make nothing impossible when it comes to glass fabrication and edging. The glass edging capabilities offered by KS Glass provide top of the line accuracy,

cosmetically flawless chip-free edges and high-volume throughput.

Physical Tempered / CHEMICAL strengthened

Physical tempered glass

Also referred to safety glass, usually used in the applications requiring high impact strength, heat resistance, the process of Physical Tempered leaves the outer surface of glass in a state of compression, and the interior in a state of tension, and it will break into small pieces.

 

Chemical strengthened glass

The glass thickness below 2mm can not be fully physical tempered, so Chemical strengthened will be a good choice.

The surface quality and flatness of the Chemical Strengthened Glass is better than Physical Tempered Glass, but Chemical Strengthened glass will not break into small pieces.

Chemically strengthened glass is typically used for thinner glass applications or applications requiring pristine surface quality such as an electronic displays or cover glass.

 

SILK SCREENING & PRINT

The platform selected for custom printed glass is always determined by the customer’s specific needs.

The silkscreen printing can be applied to ultra thin glass, chemically strengthened glass, tempered glass and float glass. Expect silkscreen printing, UV Printing is now increasingly popular printing method apply the patterns on the glass, for the reason its’ clarity and aesthetics is better than general silkscreen printing.

Custom printed glass is performed on either a semi-automatic printer or automated printer within a Class 1000 or Class 10,000 cleanroom. The most popular glass types screen printed by KS is Gorilla & Dragontail Glass.

Glass Cleaning & Packing

Glass Cleaning & Packing is often the final process to complete the glass fabrication from KS. Ultrasonic cleaning and Electronic grade flat cleaning are both available here. To bring the the brilliant glass surface of the glass thickness below 2mm, we recommend ultrasonic cleaning; and for larger output, our high cleanliness electronic grade is the perfect choice.

 

We take the packing of every single piece of the glass seriously, generally we will cover the glass with double-sides protection film, then pack them into wooden case, to make sure our glass deliver to our customer’s hand safely.
