What is Ultra Thin Glass?
Ultra-thin glass is a type of glass which is characterized by its thinness, typically ranging from 0.1mm to 0.33mm in thickness, also available to the thickness above 0.33mm, This kind of glass is produced utilizing unique techniques that enable glass to be produced with a thickness that is substantially smaller than regular glass.

Float glass is a common method for producing ultra-thin glass, where molten glass is poured onto a bed of molten metal and then floated on top, allowing it to cool and solidify. Drawing involves pulling the glass out into a thin sheet using a series of rollers, while CVD involves depositing a thin layer of glass onto a substrate using a chemical process.
One of the advantages of ultra-thin glass is that it is extremely lightweight and flexible, making it ideal for use in portable electronic devices. It also has excellent optical properties, allowing for high-quality displays with sharp images and vibrant colors. Additionally, it is resistant to scratches and can be treated with a variety of coatings to enhance its durability and resistance to damage.
What is Chemical Strengthened?
Chemical strengthening is a process of treating glass to make it stronger and more resistant to damage. The process involves immersing the glass in a chemical solution that replaces smaller ions on the surface of the glass with larger ones. This creates a layer of compression on the surface of the glass, which makes it more resistant to cracks and chips.
The most common chemical strengthening method is called ion exchange. In this process, the glass is immersed in a bath of molten salt, typically potassium nitrate, at a high temperature. The smaller sodium ions on the surface of the glass are replaced by larger potassium ions from the salt bath. As the glass cools, the potassium ions compress the surface layer of the glass, making it more resistant.

Q: Should glass be tempered and what's the difference between Chemical tempered and Physical tempered?
To small size/thickness less than 3.2mm,we recommend chemical tempered.(surface toughen by 6-7H).
To bigger size/thickness above 3.2mm, we recommend physical tempered.
Base on thermal tempered, the fragmentation test standard / partical sizes & quantity could be set base on different thickness.
The glass flatness could be asked after tempering.
Q: What kind of glass will be used?
LightingWe usually use clear / ultra clear float glass for production, depends on customer's need.
Cover glassWe usually use AGC(Dragontail) for production, but also available in gorilla/NEG etc. base on customer's need
Furniture glass We usually use high quality flat/bending glass

Any order quantity is welcome. But some type of products are high cost that not suitable for small order.
